Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe International Airport Uganda and transfer to Mount Rwenzori National Park

After arrival at the Entebbe International Airpport in Uganda, the tour vehicles and our Kilimanjaro Rwenzori safari guide will be waiting in the parking lot. Next, board our 4×4 safari vehicle and be taken to Rwenzori mountains National Park. The distance from Entebbe to Rwenzori Mountains National Park is approximately 370 to 380 kilometers by road, depending on the route you take. This Uganda road trip safari typically takes around 6 to 7 hours by car.

On reaching, your safari guide will guide you with the entry process to the Rwenzoris followed by briefing.  On this day, one is to trek to Nyabitaba hut that sits on an elevation of 2650 meters. Also, the visitors are able to get the breathtaking views of the verdant green during the Rwenzori trekking tour. The night is to be spent at the Nyabitaba hut and dinner is usually prepared by the skilled local chefs at the hut.

At 6:00 am in the morning you will be picked up by the safari vehicle and then driven to the Queen Elizabeth national park. The journey will be approximately 2 to 3 hours max and about 100 to 120km apart depending on your starting and end points. Upon arrival, you are to have breakfast at one of the exquisite restaurants in Queen Elizabeth national park. After the delicious meal, you are to proceed for Uganda safari game drive experiences through the park. So, one will get to spot the Uganda big five safari animals (lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants).

You will also get to witness predator-prey relations as the big cats stalk and hunt their prey.
